I found the Daleks contained in Area 52 in the movie Loony Toons: Back in Action.

It would be a fun moment, except the inclusion was used as Steve Martin’s request… without the permission of Terry Nation, the man who created the Dalek design. It apparently made him so angry that he refused to include the Daleks in the new series until he got a formal apology.

He eventually did, but the reason we didn’t get Daleks for a while, and almost didn’t get them at all, in the new series is due to them not realizing that the Dalek image isn’t public domain.
